Dancers are
the most confident in their skin –
They find no problem in their movements
Or issue with their rhythm.
They all walk
As if they are dancing to their own hearts
And each step they take
Reflects the shadow of a dance they once knew.

Actors are
the most protective of their space
Taking up as much as they can
And finding no issue with their memory.
They can make a home
Out of a piece of wood
And revel in the lights
That shine them to their audience.

Singers are
made in two moulds –
Those who are aware that
Their voices go for miles
In empty spaces hanging on their breath;
Those who have no idea
That their tone can stop
Trains of thought.

Writers are
the kind of people
who bleed their criticism
at their own work –
they cannot see their potential,
no matter how great their words.
